Hiya, welcome to Sarah in Wonderland.
If you hadn't already guessed, I'm Sarah. This is my little space where I write about all things disability, beauty and lifestyle.
I'm a Scouser living in Northamptonshire with my boyfriend and a broken body.
I'm a bookworm, a lipstick junkie, stationery addict and a fan of skulls.

For as long as I can remember I've been passionate about writing, I write poetry and short stories that tend to be dark or sinister, I've tried the hugs and rainbow thing and it's not me; I'll definitely write a novel one day.
If I'm not writing, tormenting my boyfriend or on the phone to my best friend, I'm either shopping, watching a TV show about serial killers or asleep.

How long have you been blogging?
I started Sarah in Wonderland in May 2015; it had been on my mind for a while but a lot of distractions got in the way. When we moved I felt like I could finally put my energy into writing and I love it.

What is the significance of Sarah in Wonderland?
Alice in Wonderland is easily up there as one of my favourite Disney films and the novel was written in the nineteenth century; I studied Victorian literature for four years and everything about the era fascinates me. I also love how weird and wonderful Wonderland is, I'd certainly like to go there...don't try telling me it doesn't exist, we just haven't found the right rabbit hole.

'We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'

Do you have a blogging schedule?
I do, I like routine. I always post Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If there's something I desperately need to tell the world I'll add another post on whatever day I feel like.

Who designed your blog?
The wonderfully talented Serena at Pretty Wild Things. I can't recommend her enough, she's an absolute star and has some fabulous ideas. Go check her out!

Have a question? Tweet me and I'll get back to you as quick as I can.

  1. Hi! Is it true you have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome? If so, do you mind me asking which type? I have type 3 (hypermobile EDS)
