Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb

A cult favourite perfume for so many is Viktor & Rolf - Flowerbomb; I've lusted after it for over a year. Every time I'd go into Boots or a department store, I'd have a little spray and my senses would dance happily. I put off purchasing it as I have so many perfumes that sit in my room and I wanted to use some up before getting any more.

Viktor & Rolf - Flowerbomb EDP Gift Set 50ml | £74 | Debenhams |

I was given the gift set as a birthday present from my 3 year old nephew, Kaine, (obviously my Mum and Pops bought it, but he likes to think he did) last week. My brother had strongly suggested I buy no perfume with the copious amount of Boots gift cards I received, so I had an inkling I'd been getting one of the perfumes from my wish list. I was completely overwhelmed when I opened (or rather Kainey did) the wrapping paper because I'd wanted Flowerbomb for so long. I've worn it every day for almost two weeks.

The gift set comes with a 50ml bottle of Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum - which I prefer to EDT as it has a much higher concentration of fragrance and therefore the scent lasts a lot longer; 50ml shower gel and 50ml body cream. I've yet to try the shower gel or the body cream but I plan on doing that this week.

Like the name suggests, Flowerbomb is a floral scented perfume with top notes of orange and mandarin, middle notes of Sambac jasmine, orange tree, Catleya orchid, freesia and Centifolia rose, and finally a woody base note of Patchouli. Basically it's an explosion of florally goodness and I simply can't get enough of it. It's a soft, sexy scent that lingers on the skin for hours and is definitely an everyday wearable fragrance. Not only is Flowerbomb sweet and flirty, but the bottle is girly and looks great on my perfume shelf.

Flowerbomb will forever be on my repurchase list. I love it. Will it be my signature scent? Perhaps for 2016, yes.

Have you tried Flowerbomb? What's your favourite perfume?

  1. Hey lovely!

Really nice photos and I'm intrigued to smell this. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of sweet, florally scents but I love the bottle (and your blog!) so I'm going to give it a sniff next time I'm in Boots!
